Uma Thurman PregnantUma Thurman is expecting her third child with her partner Arpad Busson. The news has been confirmed by the Actress' manager.

She already has two children - Maya, 13, and 10-year-old Levon - with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke, while her partner also has two children, Arpad Flynn Alexander Busson and Aurelius Cy Andrea Busson, with former girlfriend, Elle McPherson.

Stem Cells Can Extend FertilityScientists have found stem cells in human ovaries from which it may one day be possible to produce an ‘unlimited’ supply of eggs and this breakthrough could revolutionise fertility treatment.

Doctors in the U.S. were able to isolate the cells in a laboratory where they ‘spontaneously generated’ eggs which they say are capable of being fertilised.

Jason BatemanA representative for Jason Bateman has confirmed that the actor has become a father for the second time to baby girl Maple Sylvie.

The couple now have two girls and have been married for 10 years.

Severe morning sicknessAccording to a new study morning sickness might be an indicator of more serious later-pregnancy complications including premature birth

In the study, women who had severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy were 23% more likely to give birth before 34 weeks, and 31% more likely to have high blood pressure or pre-eclampsia.

Flu jab in pregnancyThe number of pregnant women opting to have the flu vaccination is a third lower than this time last year. This information comes from Health Protection Agency data.

This information comes just as Dr Maureen Baker from the Royal College of GPs said the UK could still see a flu outbreak within the next few weeks. She told GP magazine that the usual seasonal spike in flu activity has yet to emerge this winter.

A British man, who started life as a woman, is believed to have given birth last year while living as a man.

According to medical experts there is no reason a woman who has had a sex change can't have children if the womb is not removed during sex change surgery

 Breast Cancer and PregnancyAccording to new research published in the medical journal The Lancet pregnant women with breast cancer can give birth safely even if they are having chemotherapy.

The findings go on to say that it is not necessary to deliver the baby early or delay treatment. Women are instead advised to aim to have a normal length pregnancy, because in most cases the cancer can still be treated with both chemo and surgery. Terminating the pregnancy does not appear to improve a woman's chance of surviving the disease, it added.

Diabetes In PregnancyReserchers have warned that pregnant women with diabetes are almost four times more likely to have a baby with a birth defect than women without the condition. 

The findings would suggest that higher blood sugar levels in the mother raise the risk.
