A source told Life & Style magazine: ‘Over Thanksgiving weekend, Maggie was telling friends that she’s six months pregnant. Her bump is so big. She’s thrilled to be pregnant! She and Peter have wanted another child for a while. They’re very happy that they’ll have another baby in the house soon.’

While a spokesperson for the actress confirmed the news to Us Weekly a representative was unavailable for further comment earlier today.

Rumours of a second baby on the way were sparked last month as Maggie stepped out to promote her new film Hysteria.

While attending the film’s premieres Maggie opted for loose fitting ensembles but the white dress she wore to the Rome Film Festival appeared to outline the beginnings of a baby bump.
