Jessica Simpson has been in the papers quite a lot recently as speculation, along with her bump, has grown to epic proportions. It even got  to the point where celeb friend were taking to Twitter to express their fears over how far overdue she actually was.

Well, the wait is finally over and Jessica announced the news herself on her website. Bouncing baby daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson has been born, apparently nine days past her due date, weighing a very healthy 9lb 13oz.

As reported in the People magazine yesterday Maggie and her hubby Peter Sargaard have become parents to their second daughter, named Gloria Ray!

The baby was born in New York on Thursday and joins older sister, Ramona, who is aged six.

Maggie has not been secretive about the sex of the baby and did in fact reveal that they were having a girl in an interview last month but she did not, however, reveal the due date.

Pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor is celebrating after giving birth to her third son. She and hubby, The Feeling bassist Richard Jones, 32, welcomed baby Ray Holiday Jones at lunchtime yesterday.

The excited dad took to the band's Twitter page to announce the birth: 'It's a boy! Ray Holiday Jones was born today at 12:35 weighing 7Ib 15.

Jack Osbournes fiancée Lisa Stelly has given birth to a baby girl who they have named Pearl. She is healthy and weighs in at 8lbs 6oz
